Known Sewing Machines that will not work with the 98100, 98200 or 98201 cabinets: Most of these machines will fit in the opening but cannot be mounted down for the storage position because they have no mounting holes** or have oil reserves inside.

The following are machines that will not work in these cabinets:

These are the known machines that will not work-- there may be more. The only guaranteed way to confirm that a machine will work in these cabinets is to measure it and verify that the machine can be mounted from the bottom and has no oil reserves.

The following are machines that will not fit into the universal insert: Bernina 153 or 1080, Brother Pacesetter & ULT2001, 2002D,2003D, Pfaff Hobby 1042, Brother NX 200, 250, 400,450, 450Q, 650Q & CS8072,Baby Lock Ellisimo, Espire or Ellure, Viking Designer Diamond, SE & Sapphire 830, 850, 870. These are the known machines that will not fit into the universal insert-- there may be more. A machine-specific custom insert for flatbed sewing may be available for purchase if the universal insert will not work for your machine.

A custom insert cannot be made for the Janome 4623LE Plus, the Viking Diamond, SE, 830, 850, & 870 Sapphire, the Baby Lock and Brother sewing/embroidery machines in the 98100 or 98200 series cabinets.

*The following machines will not work in the 98300/ 98400 series: Baby Lock Ellisimo, Ellegante BLG, Ellageo BLL, New Esante BLN; Brother Quattro 6000D, Innovis QC1000, NV1500D, NV2500D, NV4000D; Duetta 4500D Singer Futura CE-100, 150,200,250,300, 350; Bernina New 830:Viking Designer Diamond, 905, 910, 936 sergers, Janome MC300E, 6600.
